IP SUMMARY

Some Expandiverse Components

The Metaverse starts a once-in-human-history rise to a fully "digital world" that will outperform the physical world.

Expandiverse IP adds core intellectual properties designed to turn us toward a healthy, prosperous and sustainable planet in years, instead of generations.

The Expandiverse started in 2006 and 2007 while looking out a window. What would the world look like if it was 50 years from now and we had grown into a successful planet that included everyone? What would this window be, and where would I be looking?

The first change is in the window and what today's devices could do. The window would be looking anywhere in the world, in a 2-way live connection where any person in the world could be looking back with our two "spaces" turned into one. It would be as if we were in the same room with a sheet of digital glass between us. That digital window would be more powerful than the world's best computer monitor today.

The next change is what we receive, because the world's best choices would be known and distributed to everyone based on their goals and the step they were taking. We will all automatically receive the world's "next best step," and be able to act instantly, succeeding as we follow "the short path to our goal."

Another change is immediate success because humanity's combined resources will be at everyone's fingertips. All 10 billion people, in 2075, can increase their personal success in their digital steps every day, rapidly improving their lives. That world will grow ever faster and increase its abilities quickly by learning privately from people's choices and results.

Also, this became a people-first "system." People-First Capitalism and live E-Consumption drives supply chains that are private, accurate and efficient. Business costs fall, quality and satisfaction increase, and affordability grows. The people-first world of the future delivers what everyone needs where and when they need it, while helping Everybody RISE.

Expandiverse IP turned that universally successful world into technology we can apply today, in years instead of generations.

(Click image to see full size)

This kind of "system change" technology wasn't a fundable investment in 2007, so this project has been self-funded. That grew into proprietary Expandiverse Technology. Today, this could start an ESG Personal Solutions Economy where people can set their goals, improve their lives, and help solve the world's biggest problems like health, inclusion and the climate crisis.

Could we make this the decade when humanity reaches for its destination, so we can start becoming a healthy, prosperous and sustainable planet that includes everyone.

INTRODUCTION TO THE FIRST EXPANDIVERSE PATENT

IP: The People-First Metaverse where Every Person can Rise to the Top

"Reality Alternate" was the first Expandiverse patent. Its 1,400 page application was filed in May 2011

This positive Real World Metaverse is more visionary and may be more valuable than most of today's Metaverses. Why? Because many of their advances came after May 2011, and may be too late

For example, to reject new patent applications, U.S. Patent Examiners made this IP Family their most cited IP in 2017

Today's tech platforms design digital reality as a business model that makes them rich and directs our commercial choices to non-sustainable companies. We live in a surveillance commerce virtual reality designed and run by Google, Facebook, Amazon and other tech giants.

Tech's dystopian tech platforms sell us a non-sustainable economy, and persuade us to buy it and live inside of it. They compel us to help destroy the Earth by limiting our choices to what increases their revenues. Their wealth grows by billions a year while people don't and the world declines. This is Inequality Capitalism for all to see.

Instead, the point of the Expandiverse is to help everyone choose and live in a better world than today's reality. We have seen technology help people, organizations and the world. Now it can improve reality.

The Expandiverse Personal Solutions OS shifts control to every person. You choose your goals, see the world's best solutions displayed, and choose the ones you want. You replace today's limits with the world's best ESG opportunities. The economy serves you privately by delivering the ESG solutions you want, in a "system" named People-First Capitalism.

(Opens in a new tab)

For the first time, each person can decide their world, how they want to live, and which businesses they will include or exclude. For the first time, companies can be required to include their customers' and markets' values. Once you take control and decide, your values will change the world.

EXPANDIVERSE IP STRATEGY

Expandiverse's Metaverse Intellectual Property Strategy

The U.S. Patent Office classified the 1,400 page Expandiverse patent specification into 31 technology categories — but a list of 31 technologies does NOT describe this invention

For the first time in history the Everybody RISE demonstration project describes how to build a healthy, prosperous and sustainable planet that includes everyone

Intellectual Property (IP) as a Business Model

Three time zones: An IP business lives in a different time zone from corporations and startups. A corporation's deadline is its quarterly report. A startup's deadline is revenue traction in 12 to 18 months, or its funding dries up. For patents the deadline is the patents' 20-year life span before they expire. The Expandiverse was filed for its first patents in 2010 and 2011, so this "online-first world" is arriving right on time today as Metaverses and Web3 take off. The Expandiverse still has about 10 years before its patents expire.

The inventor's nearly two-decade example: In the early 1990's Dan Abelow patented valuable components of a digital economy that included digital content, access and communications. Those patents were too far ahead until the Internet took off. In 2004 this IP portfolio was bought. By 2009 the patent owners were well on their way to licensing over 550 corporations, with many world-leaders among them (like Apple, Google, Samsung and Microsoft). Parts of that IP had grown so common some developers asked, "Everyone does this, so how can there be a patent on it?"

With the Metaverse, the Expandiverse will take off: Abelow used the 2004 IP sale funds to create Expandiverse technology and its IP. This adds the Real World Metaverse™ that uses both today's and tomorrow's devices so it works everywhere, across the whole online world, as you switch between your devices, places and times. It is designed to deliver the world's best answers to everyone personally, in real-time, so they can solve today's biggest threats in their lives. Everyone can start living in a healthier, more prosperous and sustainable world that is more private and protected, where everyone can succeed together.

A new direction — Everybody to the top: No one has ever lived on or known how to build a healthy, prosperous and sustainable planet that includes everyone. Expandiverse IP adds "umbrella patents" with new digital layers above the Internet. These empower people to rise above brands, devices, hardware operating systems, platforms, apps and online services. In these new layers everyone is empowered to replace today's toxic surveillance economy by choosing their personal goals and rising toward them in private, supportive online lives. People will end threats like climate change, health and inclusion by deciding it's time for companies to join an ESG Solutions Economy and deliver the solutions they want personally and privately. The companies that help reach the goals people choose remain visible on their digital devices, so people will prefer their products and services. As this real-time delivery system is built, the online world will add more abilities to display and deliver real-time solutions that fit each person's goals. This people-first "system" will convert industries to ESG companies that thrive on private customer relationships which help people develop the healthy, sustainable and protected lives that they want but can't get today.

Two of the strategies: Since this converts the $94 trillion world economy to widely wanted goals like sustainability, health and inclusion, this looks too big for the usual startup, but there are other options. One is the Everybody RISE demonstration platform and the other is Expandiverse IP:

  • Everybody RISE platform: This might use Uber-scale funding, by large private and corporate VC's, so they can lead a universally successful people-first planet. With Uber-scale growth this could be proven by 2023 to 2025, then scale to a billion or more users by about 2030, to drive universal advances during the 2030's.
  • Expandiverse Metaverse IP: Expandiverse IP could be acquired by one or more of the billion-user platforms that is making large investments in the Metaverse. Within a year they could use this IP to start delivering ESG solutions to their billions of users. By 2030 these Metaverse platforms could monetize billions of personal ESG steps every day. By adding this people-first ESG Personal Solutions Operating System and economy to their platform, they could empower everyone to help solve the world's threats while improving people's lives globally. These Metaverses could position themselves to lead this ESG Solutions Economy for decades to come.

The Great RISE: Today, most people get their choices from what is sent to their digital surveillance devices, and live limited lives working for yesterday's inequality capitalism. But with Expandiverse IP people will be the decision makers and their devices will display their goals privately — making "the system" both personal and protected. Today's customer targeting will evolve to customer-decided. Government anti-trust laws and privacy regulations will be less critical when everyone can make their digital decisions, and the devices people own deliver the choices — and world — that they want and decide.

The biggest question and answer: Expandiverse IP adds a people-first answer to today's biggest strategic question:

Does the world control you, or do you control the world?

(Click image to see full size)

User's Privacy: Digital Protections

In development. This is the next U.S. Patent filing

Works across today's and tomorrow's devices.

Protect yourself, protect your users from predatory surveillance platforms.

World: Real World Generator

In the patent specification. Available for patenting when Metaverse applications are clear.

Works across today's and tomorrow's devices.

What is human reality and where does it come from? For children, "play" gives them ways to try the real world and learn to live in it.

For adults, the Real World Generator adds hybrid virtual-physical environments in which "real world play" gives them ways to design, try, develop, build and grow new kinds of "real worlds" both virtually and physically, with ways to grow and merge them into the real world in which we live.

This disrupts the businesses of entertainment, games, jobs/work, social groups, invention, startups, entrepreneurs, corporations, NGO's/nonprofits, governances, venture capital and investing to transform every person's desires to live a better life into "real world play". The result could become a normal part of billions of people's daily lives as they decide the world they want, and turn that into the world in which they live.

Success: Active Knowledge

In the patent specification. Available for patenting when Metaverse applications are clear.

Works across today's and tomorrow's devices. .

We are wirelessly surrounded by the world's best knowledge, but are forced to use the steps of search, analysis and step-by-step trials to find it and apply it.

Imagine a world of Active Knowledge where your goals, your device, app, task and steps are a real-time filter that brings you the world's "next best step" and the "short path to your goal." Now everyone can use the world's best known choices to succeed in their steps, whether they are in Silicon Valley, Stockholm, Shanghai or a dirt roads village in Africa or the Amazon.

Imagine a "GO FAST" UX (User Experience) where GO is the goals you set to bring you the kind of Active Knowledge Solutions you want in real-time. Your "FAST" steps are to Find the solutions you want, Act by trying them, Save the solutions you want, and Transform your life by switching to your best solutions — in a continuous process you can use all day long.

AI's learn from the actions people take, and their results. Better solutions are continuously discovered worldwide, and spread to everyone who wants to reach their goals faster and in the world's best known ways.

This disrupts parts of marketing, commerce, education and expertise. When everyone knows the world's best choices in each step, everyone can rise to the top every day of their life.

Reality: Constructed Digital Realities

Covered in the specification. Will be filed for U.S. Patent when Metaverse applications are clear

Works across today's and tomorrow's devices.

Enables people to construct the digital realities they want, or add overlays to today's reality. Includes using, sharing, broadcasting, distributing and monetizing constructed realities at scale ranging from  private to mass scale.

Resources: Adaptive and Worldwide

Covered in the specification. Will be filed for U.S. Patent when Metaverse applications are clear

Works across today's and tomorrow's devices. .

This parallels the music industry's evolution from selling individual music CD's to ubiquitous streaming of the whole world's music all the time.

Users gain direct and clear ways to use and control devices and their capabilities worldwide. Device owners turn their devices, software, apps, content and online services into 24x7 online rental income or sharing credits. When currently owned devices are replaced, the old devices can be kept online to earn income.

This steadily adds growing ranges of virtual global resources that everyone can use instantly to reach their goals — without the expense of buying, or the difficulties of using, every different product.

This disrupts the industries of consumer and business electronics, devices, computers, software, IoT (Internet of Things), apps and online services. This includes optional revenue sharing with original vendors to multiply their DAU's (Daily Active Users) to potentially billions of daily uses.

The impact is potentially a vast expansion of humanity's combined resources that enable everyone to reach their goals quickly. When everyone can apply our immense global resources to their next steps, the range of daily human successes can be accelerated to transformative levels..

Stage 2: Future Expandiverse Metaverse Patents

As an "open case" with a 1,400 page IP specification that includes 282 Figures, future patents will be developed with key licensees, partners or an acquirer to protect their Metaverse applications and needs

The U.S. Patent Office classified the 1,400 page Expandiverse specification into 31 technology categories.

Stage 1's initial Expandiverse IP "stack": Add patented Metaverse "layers" that make people more powerful than brands, devices, platforms, hardware operating systems, online services and apps.

Stage 2's future patents: As an "open case" future patents will be filed to fit key licensees, partners or an acquirer to protect their Metaverse applications and needs. A hierarchy of dozens to hundreds of patents is available from this 1,400 page patent specification with 282 Figures.

The Metaverse starts a once-in-human-history rise to a "digital world" that will outperform the physical world. Expandiverse IP adds core intellectual properties designed to make this a successful planet in years, instead of generations.
